BERLIN STORM SHELTER RULES

THE BERLIN COMMUNITY STORM SHELTER IS LOCATED AT 461 COUNTY ROAD 1615 CULLMAN, AL 35058
The Storm Shelter will open to the public only when an official alert is issued by Local Emergency Services.
Please follow these rules to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone inside:
🚫 No Pets (Certified service animals only)
🚫 No Alcohol or Drugs (“recreational drugs” is not allowed in or around the shelter)
🚭 No Tobacco Use, including vaping
🚫 No Profanity, Disorderly Conduct, or Disruptive Behavior
🔒 No Weapons Allowed
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian
🔈 Keep noise to a minimum to ensure weather updates can be heard
🎧 All music or entertainment devices must be used with headphones/earbuds
🎒 Only one small bag per person is permitted
Additional Notes:
The shelter can be cool during fall and winter—bring a jacket or blanket for comfort.
During storms, rain, hail, and wind can make it hard to hear. If you’re having trouble entering, knock loudly. You may also honk your car horn briefly to alert others of your arrival.
