Regular Meeting
- Meeting called to order by Mayor Patrick Bates on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 7:00 P.M.
- Roll call by Clerk Keirstyn Montgomery. Keith Hardman not present.
- Mayor Patrick Bates asked for any public comments, there were none.
- Council discussed Farmers Market Rules & Regulations. Yearly Farmers Market fees will be $100 within Town of Berlin, $150 within the Berlin precinct, $200 for all others. Motion to approve by Jimbo Quick, second by Bruce Bentley. Approved 5-0.
- Approval of minutes from December 21, 2020 Regular Meeting & January 04, 2021 Special Meeting. Motion to approve by Donald Gunter, second by Jimbo Quick. Approved 5-0.
- Council discussed public Wi-Fi. Council made motion to purchase antenna equipment from Ubiquiti in the amount not to exceed $500 to expand Wi-Fi to Berlin Community Center. Motion to approve by Donald Gunter, second by Don Bates. Approved 5-0.
- Council discussed purchasing outdoor cameras for parking lot at Town Hall and Farmers Market. Motion to purchase 2 cameras from Ubiquiti in the amount not to exceed $300 made by Jimbo Quick, second by Bruce Bentley. Approved 5-0.
- Approval of December invoices. Motion to approve by Donald Gunter, second by Bruce Bentley. Approved 5-0.
- Motion to purchase filing cabinet from Office Max through State Bid List in the amount of $51.22. Motion to approve by Bruce Bentley, second by Don Bates. Approved 5-0.
- Mayor Patrick Bates informed Council that Midland Weather Radios have been ordered and Farmers Market Building material will be delivered by the end of January.
- In other business, Council approved internet services from Sprout Fiber in the amount not to exceed $100/monthly and to continue service with Spectrum as a redundant service. Motion to approve by Donald Gunter, second by Jimbo Quick. Approved 5-0.
- Motion to adjourn by Donald Gunter, second by Jimbo Quick. Approved 5-0.

- The next meeting of the Berlin Town Council will be February 15, 2021 at the Berlin Community Center at 7PM.
