Special Meeting
The Town Council of the Town of Berlin met in special session on this date and time following publication and posting pursuant to Alabama law.
- Meeting called to order by Mayor Patrick Bates on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Berlin Town Hall.
- Roll call by Town Clerk Keirstyn Montgomery. All members present.
- Councilman James Sanford made motion to suspend the rules. Second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 6-0.
- Councilman James Sanford made motion to enter Executive Session for the reason of property purchase and to convene in 5 minutes. Second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 6-0.
- 2:01PM Council entered Executive Session.
- 2:04PM Council ended Executive Session.
- Councilman James Sanford made motion to make offer on approximately 13.5 acres owned by Kathy Teichmiller. Second made by Councilman Donald Gunter. Approved 6-0.
- Motion to adjourn made by Councilman James Sanford, second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 6-0.
- Adjourned at 2:06 PM.
