RESOLUTION NO. 2026-001 – A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR REBUILD ALABAMA
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town of Berlin, Alabama as follows:
WHEREAS, the Town of Berlin has solicited competitive bids pursuant to the Public Works Bid Law §41-16-50, Code of Alabama 1975, and Rebuild Alabama Act §23-8-8, code of Alabama 1975, for Mt. Carmel Drive Roadway Improvements;
AND WHEREAS, the Town of Berlin resolves to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, according to the special specifications determined and placed on file;
AND WHEREAS, the invitation for bids was advertised with the public opening date of 2:00 pm local time on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Bids were publicly opened, the total bids being as follows:

AND WHEREAS, Rogers Group, Inc., was determined to be the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town of Berlin that a contract be awarded to Rogers Group, Inc. in the bid amount of Two Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($267,500.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Town of Berlin that the Mayor is hereby authorized to act on behalf of the Town Council to execute contracts and related documents that may arise between the Town of Berlin, Alabama and Rogers Group, Inc. related to the Mt. Carmel Drive Roadway Improvements.
