Regular Meeting
- Meeting called to order by Mayor Patrick Bates on Monday, October 17, 2022, at
- 7:01 P.M. at the Berlin Town Hall.
- Invocation – Councilman James Sanford.
- Pledge of Allegiance – Mayor Patrick Bates.
- Roll call by Town Clerk Keirstyn Montgomery. Councilman Donald Gunter, not present.
- Mayor Patrick Bates asked for public comments. There were none.
- Approval of minutes from September 19, 2022, Regular Meeting. Motion to approve made by Councilman James Sanford. Second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 5-0.
- Mayor Patrick Bates informed Council the Town of Berlin did not receive the Rebuild Alabama grant for FY2022.
- Mayor Patrick Bates presented Resolution # 2022-009 DIVISION F HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN. Motion to approve by Councilman James Sanford. Second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 5-0.
- Council discussed Bush hogging & mowing of Town property.
- Mayor Patrick Bates informed Council the Town of Berlin did not receive the FY2023 RC&D grant for park & recreation.
- Council discussed 4-way stop implementation. Mayor Patrick Bates informed Council the final cost from the Road Department would be $1,500.
- Motion to adjourn made by Councilman James Sanford, second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 5-0.
- Adjourned at 7:31 PM.
- The next meeting of the Berlin Town Council will be November 21, 2022, at the Berlin Town Hall at 7:00 PM.
