A RESOLUTION ADOPTING MILEAGE RATE FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO EMPLOYEES AND OFFICERS OF THE TOWN OF BERLIN, ALABAMA
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Berlin, Alabama, has convened an organizational meeting at 3:00 PM on the 3rd day of November 2025;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Berlin, Alabama, that the Town of Berlin shall reimburse all employees and officials whom are entitled to reimbursement under current and future reimbursement policies for use of their personal vehicle in an amount per mile equal to the Optional Standard Mileage Rates as issued by the Internal Revenue Service each year, as amended.
The current rate effective 2025 is .70 cents per mile.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY THE BERLIN TOWN COUNCIL this 3rd day of November 2025.
