The Berlin Farmers Market is organized under the Alabama Farmers Market Authority as described in the Ala. Code 2-5-1 ET. seq., the market and vendor will follow the Alabama Farmers Market Authority Administrative Code, 80-7-1.
Berlin Farmers Market Growers, Cottage Food & Crafters Meeting 
Join us as we kick off planning for an exciting 2026 Berlin Farmers Market season!

Location: Berlin Town Hall
This meeting is open to growers, cottage food producers, crafters, and anyone interested in becoming a vendor at the Berlin Farmers Market. We’ll be discussing plans for the upcoming market season, special events, and new opportunities for our vendors.
We’re excited to welcome the Cullman County Extension Office, who will be present at the meeting. Growers will have the opportunity to obtain their Growers License on-site, making this a convenient one-stop meeting for the season ahead.
Whether you’re a returning vendor or just curious about joining the Berlin Farmers Market, we would love for you to attend. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, connect with others, and help shape a fun and successful market season.

BERLIN FARMERS MARKET FEES
The Berlin Farmers Market offers 16 covered bays with electrical hook-up available at every bay. Annual growers will have priority access to covered bays. When covered bays are filled, uncovered space will be offered. Water is also available on the property.
***ANNUAL PLAN GROWERS ARE ABLE TO SELL AT THEIR ASSIGNED BAY ANYTIME, ANYDAY!***
Annual Fee
Annual growers may sell items ANY day of the week through out the season.
$100 – If you reside within the Town of Berlin.
$150 – If you reside within the Berlin precinct.
$200 – All others
Berlin Farmers Market Weekly Fee – $30
Daily Fee – $10
Special Event Daily Fee – $20

2025 BERLIN FARMERS MARKET RULES & REGULATIONS
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SECURE YOUR BAY AT BERLIN FARMERS MARKET: You must provide a FREE State of Alabama Growers Permit from the Cullman County Extension Office, market dues, copy of vehicle insurance, & signed Farmers Market Rules & Regulations.
Home Processed : Producers of home processed products that contain home grown ingredients must obtain a Growers Permit from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. If your home processed product does not contain more than fifty percent home grown ingredients, you do not qualify for a growers permit; and therefore, would have to purchase a Town of Berlin Business License and collect proper sales tax on the goods sold.
IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A GROWERS PERMIT YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A TOWN OF BERLIN BUSINESS LICENSE AND COLLECT PROPER SALES TAX ON GOODS SOLD.
YOU MUST FOLLOW STATE & LOCAL LAWS. FOOD VENDORS MUST ALSO HAVE A CURRENT HEALTH DEPARTMENT PERMIT.
YOU MUST DISPLAY BOTH TOWN OF BERLIN BUSINESS LICENSE AND HEALTH PERMIT AT YOUR AREA.
