Regular Meeting
- Meeting called to order by Mayor Patrick Bates on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 7:02 P.M.
- Roll call by Clerk Keirstyn Montgomery. Jimbo Quick not present.
- Mayor Patrick Bates asked for public comments, there were none.
- Approval of minutes from March 22, 2021 Regular Meeting. Motion to approve by Keith Hardman, second by Donald Gunter. Approved 5-0.
- Approval of April invoices. Motion to approve by Donald Gunter, second by Keith Hardman. Approved 5-0.
- Council authorized Town to receive quotes for outdoor faucet and weather proofing at Berlin Town Hall.
- Mayor Patrick Bates informed council that all CARES Act reimbursements have been reimbursed.
- Council authorized Town to receive quotes for landscaping at Berlin Town Hall.
- Mayor Patrick Bates discussed quotes from Cullman County Road Department for County Roads 1600, 1612, 1619, & 1620.
- Council made motion to have Cullman County Road Department perform routine maintenance on County Roads 1612, 1619, & 1620. Motion by Keith Hardman, second by Donald Gunter. Approved 5-0.
- Council made motion to purchase ¾ crusher run from Cullman County Road Department for $1,552.50 plus additional cost of grade work. Motion by Donald Gunter, second by Keith Hardman. Approved 5-0.
- Council discussed quotes for a portable restroom to be located at the Berlin Farmers Market. Motion to hire A Plus Portable Restrooms for the price of $80.00/month made by Don Bates, second by Bruce Bentley. Approved 5-0.
- In other business, Council announced Midland WR-120 Weather Radios will be available to pick up at the Berlin Farmers Market on Saturdays from 7AM-12PM.
- Council discussed CBDG Planning grant & Mitigation funding.
- Motion to adjourn by Donald Gunter, second by Keith Hardman. Approved 5-0.

- The next meeting of the Berlin Town Council will be May 17, 2021 at the Berlin Community Center at 7PM.
