Regular Meeting
- Meeting called to order by Mayor Patrick Bates on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at the Berlin Town Hall.
- Invocation – Councilman Donald Gunter.
- Pledge of Allegiance – Mayor Patrick Bates
- Roll call by Town Clerk Keirstyn Montgomery. Councilman Don Bates, not present.
- Mayor Patrick Bates asked for public comments. Shelby Teichmiller with the Berlin Fire Department proposed having a Community Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 29, 2022, 6PM-8PM. Motion to approve Community Trunk or Treat made by James Sanford, second made by Councilman Donald Gunter. Approved 5-0.
- Approval of minutes from July 18, 2022, Regular Meeting. Motion to approve made by Councilman James Sanford, second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 5-0.
- Mayor Patrick Bates informed Council that no bids were received for B2022-003-TOPSOIL.
- Mayor Patrick Bates presented Council with RESOLUTION NO. R2022-005-RESOLUTION ADOPTING TRANSPORTATION PLAN PURSUANT TO THE REBUILD ALABAMA ACT. Motion to adopt RESOLUTION NO. R2022-005-RESOLUTION ADOPTING TRANSPORTATION PLAN PURSUANT TO THE REBUILD ALABAMA ACT made by Councilman James Sanford, second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 5-0.
- In other business, Mayor Patrick Bates informed Council of website and email domain change from .org to .gov.
- Motion to adjourn made by Councilman James Sanford, second made by Councilman Tony Duke. Approved 5-0.
